I’m a PhD student of the Mathematics of Planet Earth Centre of Doctoral Training. My research interests include statistics and stochastic modelling applied to Earth sciences and ecology. Currently I am working on estimating prices of renewable energy (so if your electricity bills are too high, talk to me ;-). This research project is supervised by Dr Almut Veraart from Imperial College, together with Dr Oliver Feron from EDF.

I also engage in science communication. I’m one of the authors of the blog Why It Rained Today. As a mentee of Joanna Bagniewska I develop my outreach skills.

If you’d like to contact me, please drop me an e-mail at p.rowinska15@imperial.ac.uk.
